Guilford County Jail Visitation

Visitors must register before scheduling. Registration can be completed online at IWebVisit.com or in person at either detention facility. A 24-hour waiting period applies after registration, and later visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Remote visitors may visit up to two times a day for 20 minutes each. In-person visitation is free, occurs by monitor in a designated space out of view of the inmate, and is limited to two times per week at non-consecutive times.

Visits are monitored and recorded. Visitors must follow dress and conduct rules, and inappropriate conduct can end or revoke visitation. Older P2C FAQ material also notes photo ID, metal detector screening, and lockers, so confirm current entry rules before travel.

Mail and Money for Guilford County Inmates

Non-legal mail goes to a processing address and must include the correct facility name, inmate name, inmate ID number, and facility ID. The envelope also needs a complete, legible return address with the sender's first and last name. Mail with insufficient postage is refused, and mail missing required fields will not be scanned.
